Srinagar: The overnight rains lashed Valley plains while as the higher reaches received fresh snowfall since Wednesday evening. The local Meteorological (MeT) department has predicted more rains till Friday.
Officials in MeT department told KNS that Jammu and Kashmir would continue to receive rain and snowfall till Friday. “There is possibility of more rains in plains and snowfall in higher reaches till Friday,” they said.
Officials said Gulmarg, Banihal, Jawahar Tunnel and others received a fresh snowfall in this evening, brining the temperature further down.
The plain including Srinagar however received intermittent rains during the night and continued till Thursday afternoon.
MeT however here predicted more rain and snow at isolated places across Jammu and Kashmir on Friday. (KNS)
