Srinagar: United Jihad Council (UJC) chief Syed Salahuddin has warned those “playing at the hands of Indian agencies” saying “their crime is unpardonable”.He said those “intentionally or unintentionally” spreading propaganda against the “sincere” resistance leadership on social media are causing “hue damage” to the movement.“This crime is unpardonable,” Salahuddin, who is also the chairman of Hizbul Mujahideen, said in a statement issued to GNS, adding, “Indian agencies, in order to malign the resistance leadership and its activists, are using their agents. We need to be vigilant.”The UJC chief added, “Indian agencies have started reviving the Ikhwan culture and have installed their paid agents in media, social media and on the ground only to target those associated with the freedom movement. The murder of Hakeem-ur-Rehman Sultani of Bomai, Sopore and Dr Abdul Ahad Ganaie of Lolab is part of this plan.”Syed Salahuddin appealed to the “freedom loving” people to discourage such elements and repose trust in the resistance leadership and strengthen its ranks.“To defeat the propaganda of the elements inimical to movement is inevitable and need of the hour,” he said. The UJC chief also urged Pakistan to intensify its efforts in highlighting across the world the “Indian oppression” on Kashmiris. He also paid tributes to militants, Liyaqat Ahmad (Harwan, Sopore) and Furqan Ahmad (Langate), killed in the encounter with government forces at Langate, Handwara; and also to other armed youth killed since past week.
