Madrassa gutted in Chatroo, Kishtwar blaze

Jammu: A Madrassa was gutted in a massive fire incident that broke out around 5.30 pm and engulfed a nearby house and Panchayat house as well.

According to the officials, the fire broke out in Madrassa Siraj-ul-Uloom around 5.30 pm when the inhabitants were offering prayers in a nearby Masjid.

The official told that as the structure was gutted in the blaze quickly and domestic Liquified Gas Cylinders also exploded.

“Fire tenders were pressed into the service and the fire was brought under the control,” he informed, adding that no loss of life was reported in the incident—(KNO)
