Srinagar: Residents of Rainawari, Saida Kadal and adjoining areas here in summer capital Srinagar are demanding immediate restoration of Emergency Services at Rainawari Hospital.
The residents told that they are facing lot of problems, because of no OPD and no medical emergency are functional in the hospital.
“It is the only hospital in the vicinity where medical emergency has not been restored since the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic. There are only few Covid-19 patients admitted in the hospital and yet common people are being deprived of basic facilities,” they said.
“We request concerned authorities to resume medical emergency services so that people will get benefited and patient rush will come down drastically at other hospitals like Gousia Hospital and SMHS Hospital where these services have been restored way back,” the locals said. (KNT)
