HANDWARA : The resentment is brewing up in the inhabitants of Kralgund Qaziabad against the authorities for failing to make the Qazigund Kralgund tehsil office functional as it is left without Tehsildar since last five months.
According to the locals the concerned Tehsildar was transferred five month ago and the authorities have failed to send his replacement. In absence of the Tehsildar people coming from different areas of Langate Handwara return in despair.
They said that several villages of Qazigund Kragund that fall under the catchment area of tehsil kralgund are facing severe inconvenience in absence of the executive magistrate first class who besides being drawing an disbursing officer is required to attest essential documents like state subject, land notations and other revenue deeds.
“We have been suffering for long in absence of executive magistrate here. For some simple application we have to travel from far off places to tehsil office every day and in absence of Tehsildar concerned we return to our homes with deep disappointment.”
Meanwhile when contacted Additional Deputy commissioner Peer Muzzafar told Press Trust of Kashmir that we look into the matter and will take necessary action.
