Transport sector in bad shape, needs revisit transport policies to improve transport mechanism
Srinagar,20 July: Kashmir Economic Alliance(KEA) on Wednesday congratulated the newly elected Chairman of Western Bus Service Shabir Ah Matt for winning the lately held elections with a land sliding victory.
Chairman Kashmir Economic Alliance(KEA) Haji Mohammad Yaseen Khan stated that the participation of a large number of members in the recently held democratic exercise of elections was a positive development. He expressed the hope that under the newly elected Chairman our transport fraternity would continue to work for betterment & improvement of Transport sector in Valley.
Khan who also heads Kashmir Traders & Manufacturers Federation(KTMF) stressed that the newly elected leadership will have to revisit several policies, further improve Transport mechanism and devise effective strategies in consultation with LG administration.
Every step taken by Transport leadership to improve its performance and in the larger interest of the J&K will be fully supported by the Kashmir Economic Alliance(KEA) as we firmly believe that we all can play the lead role in dealing with the ongoing bad shape of economy if we make collective efforts”, Khan added.
