KEA appeals shopkeepers to do normal business on Sunday

Srinagar : Kashmir Economic Alliance has urged upon traders to keep their shops open on Sunday-the holiday when shops remain closed throughout the day. 

   Co-Chairman KEA Farooq Ahmed Dar and Vice Chairman Ajaz Shahdhar told news agency CNS that business community particularly shopkeepers have been suffering enormously due to prevailing situation. They said that due to frequent shutdowns in wake of assault on state subject laws, arrest spree, ban on Jamat-e-Islami and detentions under PSA, the shopkeeper are facing brunt and thus Kashmir Economic Alliance appeals all the shopkeepers to don normal business on Sunday. 

  Meanwhile, the SSI Unit holders urged upon Governor Administration not to abrogate the toll tax at Lakhanpur Toll Plaza. They said that move will have serious financial consequences.CNS
