The only Muslim from India was part of this mega conference was from Kashmir Valley who not only shared the dais with BJP president Amit Shah and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh but also addressed the audience asking them to look at Kashmir through the prism of humanity.

It was a summit of the party’s youth leaders being conducted by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha. Union home minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the event and BJP national president Amit Shah, Chief Ministers of BJP ruled states and other Union Ministers participated in the event.

Ajaz Hussain is a resident of Balhama area in the outskirts of Srinagar city who has emerged as a strong leader from Kashmir for the party and is very influential in the corridors of power. He is very close to Central BJP leadership.

Sources said that Ajaz Hussain done a great job for his party as in charge Chandigar. He was made in charge West Bengal in wake of massive population of Muslims in the state. BJP is expecting to bag over 20 seats for 2019 Lok Sabha elections and Ajaz till date is living to the expectations of party high command in West Bengal.

Ajaz Hussain as per sources visits Kashmir frequently. If sources are to be believed, he persuaded a large number of Kashmiri youth to join BJP in Kashmir. He was the brain child of some rallies which were organized by BJP on Srinagar roads that were attended by those youth who had joined the party. After a militant attack, Ajaz Hussain along with party activists unfurled the tri-colour at EDI building at Pampore in South Kashmir. He also organized a tri-color rally at TRC Srinagar.
