Kashmir University students protest video goes viral

SRINAGAR: Kashmir University student’s protest against the violation of Human rights in Kashmir valley today inside the campus of varsity. Pertinently the protest came after yesterday’s Kulgam killings.

A kashmir based Young Journalist Syed Shakir, who is writing for various newspapers shared the video of protest live on Facebook which received massive response from the nitiezens.

The video has received more than Eighty thousand views (80,000), 2700 shares, more than 3200 Comments and more than Eight thousand Five hundred reactions on Facebook. It is believed that it is the first Video of its kind from Kashmir based Journalist to receive such a massive response on Social network.

The video was shared by him using his personal Facebook ID. In video it was seen that hundreds of Kashmir University students marching from Naseem Bagh campus to Allama Iqbal Library to protest against what they termed “target killings” in Kulgam on Sunday by Armed forces.

Protesting students were seen Shouting pro-Azadi and anti-India slogans, the protesting students carried banners reading, ‘End Occupation, Free Kashmir’, Go India Go Back. In video it was seen that they were alleging forces of human rights violations and were demanding permanent solution of Kashmir Issue as per the aspirations of the people.
