Srinagar: A National level Photo Competition held by JK Tourism Deptt. on World Mountains Day. The Contest was Organised online . The contest was participated by more than 400 photographers across India. More than 01 lakh people voted their best Pictures. The contest continued for 04 days.
The contest results were declared today . Pirzada Mumin from Kralpora Kupwara and Aqib Yousuf from Islamabad turned out winners. The pictures by these photographers were liked by most of the people. Both winners were awarded with Momentos and a Cash Prize of 15000 and 10000 respectively.
A Ceremony was held at SKICC today . Advisor to L.G Farooq Khan was Chief Guest at the occasion and other dignitaries were Sarmad Hafeez and Director Tourism G.N Itoo.
Some other people including Adil Teli who made it to Gannies World book and many Mountaineers for scaling Mount Averest were felicitated at the occasion.
