Calls upon Employees fraternity and well-off people to take care of poor, helpless and destitute around them
Srinagar: JK Employees Joint Action Committee ( EJAC) has greeted people on the eve of auspicious Eid-ul-Fitr . In a statement President EJAC and Chairman JK Teachers Forum Mr Rafique Rather reminded people of the essence of Eid and said the day demands all to remember the poor, needy, helpless and destitute on this day of joy and happiness and share it with them aswell.
Rafique Rather said that the spirit behind the observance of Eid-ul-Fitr is to express our thanks to Almighty Allah for giving us the courage and strength to observe fast in the month of Ramadhan and dedicate ourselves to the truthfulness, sincerity, self control, patience and human values and dignity besides showing complete submission and obedience to Almighty Allah.
He said that Eid also embeds the message of taking care of the poor and destitute and making them part of the happiness by extending economic support to them .He urged community to take care of poor and needy on eid occasion.
“*- _Eid is not all about buying new clothes,enjoying lavish dishes and all that,its about being grateful to Allah for everything that he has given us,Its about helping poor and making them part of this important day.Spreading love ,bringing smile on their faces.So lets all pledge today that we will look arround and help those in need- “He added
Rather said that entire leadership of EJAC extend greetings to Ummah all around the globe in particular to JK employees fraternity and their familes and expressed hope that the Eid would bring peace, prosperity and happiness to all.
