Budgam, September 01: Inline with the organizational mandate “Positive Youth Development” JK Centre for Peace and Justice Foundation (JKCPJ) continued its statewide initiative “Student’s Connect 2022” and organized a mental health awareness programme at Govt. Girls Middle School Kawoosa Khalisa Zone Narbal Budgam. We believe in nurturing the abilities of students and our mechanism transmits knowledge, hope, and hard work.
Team JKCPJ visited the school to raise awareness, highlighted mental health issues in children and offered suggestions to the students related to mental health. JKCPJ Mental Health Counselor highlighted the importance of good mental health, briefed the students about mental health issues and gave practical suggestions to students. Students and teachers hailed JKCPJ for conducting awareness sessions related to mental health.
It is worth mentioning here that JKCPJ is conducting a series of mental health sessions in different schools of the region to counter rising mental health problems in Jammu and Kashmir. Programme is part of JKCPJ’s statewide initiative “Student’s Connect 2022” aiming to recognize and enhance strengths, and promote positive outcomes in young children.
