SRINAGAR : India told Organisation of Islamic Countries (OIC) that Jammu and Kashmir is strictly an internal matter as far as the territorial authority is concerned.
The External Affairs Ministry was responding to a resolution on the issue at the OIC conclave in Abu Dhabi.
India said its stand is consistent and clear as far as the resolutions on Jammu and Kashmir are concerned.
Spokesperson of Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Raveesh Kumar said, India reaffirm that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and is a matter strictly internal to India.
A Media report has said Pakistan Foreign Office had earlier stated that the OIC resolution “supported” Pakistan on the Kashmir tussle.
The External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Friday said at OIC conference that India has much to share with the member states. (PTK)
