SRINAGAR: Suspected militants Sunday late evening attacked infamous Ikhwan commander Abdul Rashid Parray alias Rashid Billa and killed him on the spot.
Police sources said that militants barged into Billa’s home and opened indiscriminate fire, killing him on the spot.
Notorious renegade of his time, Rashid was allegedly involved in killing of seven civilians known as Saderkote Massacre. He was evading arrest in case a 21-year-old case in which police had filed FIR no.125/1996.
