SRINAGAR: Since 2nd phase of polling is scheduled to be held on 18/04/2019, where in security forces i.e, CAPF and state Police have arrived for smooth conduct of General Parliament Election-2019.
Co-ordination- cum -review meeting has been held at PTS Manigam, in which all Commandants of deployed forces and other officers participated. All the forces have made an endeavour to ensure peaceful conduct of election process and also to build confidence of general public so as to ensure maximum participation.
Meeting was chaired by S.P Pani-IPS IGP KMR along with V.K Birdi-IPS DIG CKR, Shailendra Kumar DIG CRPF NKR. IGP KMR emphasised upon effective maintenance of security grid, co-ordination among various forces and polling staff. IGP KMR directed to ensure implementation of ECI guidelines so as to ensure free and fair conduct of Poll process.
Meeting ended with vote of thanks given by Khalil Ahmed Poswal-JKPS SSP Ganderbal to the officers who participated including Commandants and Company Commanders. (PTK)
