Srinagar, : Terming the Jammu and Kashmir administration’s decision of partial unlocking as ‘half-hearted’, senior politician and Congress leader Tariq Hameed Karra Tuesday said that the decision has ‘created a confusion in the minds of general public and the traders community equally.’
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, the former PDP Parliamentarian from Srinagar constituency wrote: “So many ifs and buts put by the administration on partial opening of lockdown in Jammu and Kashmir has created a confusion in the minds of general public and the traders community equally. Administration’s decision to allow businesses resumption seems to be half hearted and needs to be revisited on realistic and practicable grounds.”
He said “such half baked unlocking attempts” were bound to cause further hardships to already suffering traders community, and “maybe an occasional face off as well.” (GNS)
