Srinagar: Scores of Hajh pilgrims who are scheduled to leave for Saudi Arabia on 13 May are in a fix after receiving calls that the schedule of the flight has been changed and instead of 13 May they have a flight on 12 May.
The pilgrims told that after receiving the call they contacted the Hajh House and the officials there created more confusion saying their flight may or may not be on 12 May.
Muhammad Gulzar Pir (Cover No 2869-3-0), a pilgrim from Kupwara said that he is scheduled to leave for the Hajh on 13 May but received a call that the flight is now scheduled for 12 May. “When I dialed the Hajh House landline number (01942495365), the reply was that if you have received any phone call about 12th May that would be either correct or incorrect.”
The pilgrims said that they were confused and didn’t know what to do. “We request to authorities to clarify and make us aware of the actual schedule,” they said.
Despite repeated calls, the Hajh House didn’t respond. [KNT]
