Gurez : The picturesque region of Gurez Valley in Bandipora district has attracted a whopping number of 53,000 tourists, both locals as well as non-locals, in the last four days.
With its breathtaking landscapes and rich cultural heritage, Gurez has emerged as a popular destination for trekking, camping, and fishing.
Nestled amidst the Greater Himalaya, Gurez Valley boasts a unique charm that is unparalleled. According to data collected the Gurez Valley has experienced a significant influx of tourists in the past four days, with approximately 53,000 visitors visiting the valley.
“With the ongoing influx of tourists, the local economy of Gurez Valley is experiencing a boost, benefiting businesses such as hotels, homestays, and local vendors. This surge in tourism not only generates employment opportunities for the locals but also helps in the overall development of the region,”
