SRINAGAR: Senior leader national conference, Ali Mohammad Sagar while reacting over the agitation by the students that erupts after forces allegedly resort to highhandedness in Pulwama College last week, said that the government is not serious about such issue.
He told PTK that BJP is giving one statement about Kashmir Situation while PDP another. “This shows that the coalition government is confused and divided. They even not have cooperated with each other”.
He said that it is this government who ban newspapers then revoke it. He added they block internet, social media now. “Government is not sure about its activities. They have failed. Or they have no experience of the affairs”.
Sagar said that the government had claims to they will initiate dialogue, not bullet would be used adding that they claimed to begin talks with Hurriyat, creation of employment and many more. “But nothing has been done so far on the ground”.
He asked why the majority of youth are joining militancy from the strong foot of PDP’s south Kashmir. “People are not happy with this government. They rendered people to suffer. They disturbed the affairs of state besides no accountability is left”, he said.
He said that as 2016 unrest comes to end, opposition provided every support to restore normalcy in valley adding that PDP is suffering from mismanagement within party. He said one PDP minister says one thing and the other something else.
“We don’t know who is running. Is it being run in the state or in Delhi”, he said. He said whatever the situation is currently in the valley that indicated that Mehbooba is not running government in state but it is being run from somewhere else.
He said that it is surprising that the home ministers said that they don’t know about election are being held in state. “Central govt said that they don’t know about any incident that happens in valley on the day”, he said.
He said that now forces disturbed situation by resorting to highhandedness in colleges, which has worsen the situation. He said that government has no experience about handling the incidents like these. He added that they have failed.
