Less than 5% of adults participate in 30 minutes of physical activity each day; only one in three adults receive the recommended amount of physical activity each week.

Folk Fitness is India’s first holistic dance-based fitness regime inspired by 122 registered folk dances from across India. Folk Fitness, in line with the “Make in India” ideology and motivated by the Fit India Movement, is a revolutionary choreographed group workout routine infused with their own authentic folk music inspired from the roots of India.

Tailor made fitness regimes for children (Nanhe), young (Yuva) and old (Pranam), this combination of Indian Folk dance and cardio workout can cause individuals to lose 800 to 1200 calories per sweat-soaked, hour long, fun-filled session.

With a vision to create a community of fitness enthusiasts and to reach out to every household of India, Folk Fitness has reached over 950+ Folk Fitness trainers across India with hopes to raise this number to a significant extent by end of 2018. 85% of these trainers are women!
