Five pilgrims killed in truck-trolley collision

Jhansi: Five people were killed and several others critically injured, when a truck rammed into a tractor-trolley carrying pilgrims in the Sipri Bazaar police station area here early Monday morning.

Police said that around 20 pilgrims were on their way to Ratangarh Mata at around 0330 hrs when an oncoming truck in Boodha Bhojla hit their trolley in the Sipri Bazar police station area. The trolley turned turtle after being hit by the truck killing five people instantly, whereas the others were severely injured.
