KUPWARA: Five persons were injured in a landslide in Macchil sector of Kupwara district of north, reports said.
Police official told news gathering Agency, “Five persons were injured when they came under a landslide at Chontiwari Payeen in Macchil sector this morning”.
He said that they were rescued by locals and shifted to a nearby army hospital.
Official added, “While four persons were discharged after treatment, one person was shifted to a hospital in Srinagar for further treatment”.
