Jammu: Volunteers of ‘Fahad Mir Foundation’ came to the rescue of five Labourers in distress and helped them to avail the facilities arranged by the Administration.
As per the reports one Labourer Dhukhi Das has walked down from Srinagar and reached Jammu in 13 days. He was tired, unable to walk, having no money to eat.
Other four Labourers were stranded in Reasi and they had covered the distance in three days in pathetic condition.
Shubam Manmotra, a member of NGO Fahad Mir Foundation spotted these Labourers in helplessness. He informed the Founder of NGO Mrs Ruchi Chouhan Khan who reached the spot and called for all possible help for them.Tehsildar Narwal Dr. Rohit swung into action and with the help of Narwal Police Chowki Officer Mr. Khajuria these Labours were taken to the quarantine shelter. The passes for their return were arranged also, so that they may be able to reach home safely.
Mrs. Ruchi Chouhan Khan has appealed to the citizens of India to provide assistance to the Labourers to avail the facilities created by Government. She added that the trauma which they are facing need to be decreased and avoided.
