SRINAGAR: Demanding fast court trial to ensure justice to three year old Aymen Zehra, AIP President Er. Rasheed has urged administration to clear every single doubt being raised by the masses related to the incident.
In a statement issued today Er. Rasheed said “Whatsoever has happened in Tergam needs serious introspection among the society. There should be no second opinion to the fact that everyone including investigating agency, common masses and local administration must be feeling the pain and all are sincerely trying to ensure justice to the victim child but administration can take further concrete measures to ensure that neither evidence is destroyed nor the culprit or someone on his behalf tries to prove him minor”.
Er. Rasheed added that people across the state are genuinely shocked over the incident and have a right to seek time bound justice for the victim. Er. Rasheed added that he has brought matter in the notice of state Chief Secretary and top police officers who have all assured that whatsoever is required to take the investigation to the logical end will be done without wasting time.
Appealing masses not to pay heed to the rumors Er. Rasheed said that while entire humanity and people of the state are together to fight for the justice to the victim, we should not allow any miscreant or vested element to create confusions over the sensitive issue and everyone must also ensure that the dignity and honor of the victim and her family is not dragged beyond a point.
While asking government to establish a fast trial court for hearing of the case Er. Rasheed said we should not forget that victim belongs to entire humanity and not to any sect or region.
Er. Rasheed reminded state government of the promises and assurances of then Chief Minister Gh Nabi Azad about delivering justice to family of Tabindah Gani as the case is yet pending before the court of law. He said that had justice been done in the case of Tabindah Gani, people would have not been showing lack of faith in administration over Aymen Zehra’s case.
Er. Rasheed added that had the culprits been given punishment in Tabindah Gani’s case in a stipulated time, it could have acted as a deterrent to avoid such horrible shameful incidents, which bring shame to entire society. (PTK)
