Er Rasheed detained during march against Chadoora killings

SRINAGAR: MLA Langate Er Rasheed was detained along with dozens of his supporters in Srinagar after police foiled his march towards the residence of Chief Minister’s against the killings of three civilians in Chadoora yesterday.

Witnesses said that Rasheed was taken into custody outside his office-cum-residence in Jawahar Nagar locality of Srinagar after he tried to march towards the CM’s residence.

Three civilians were shot dead after forces opened fire to disperse protesters near an encounter site in Durbugh village of Chadoora yesterday.
