Jammu: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) migrant wing on Wednesday urged upon the administration to ensure that adequate facilities for Kashmiri Pandits are put in place for the celebration of Maha Shivratri.
To take a review of the arrangements that are needed to be made ahead of the religious festival, a detailed meeting of PDP’s migrant cell was held at the PDP head office in Jammu which was attended by R.K Pardesi, Sunil Bhat, P.N. Jutshi, Anuji, Ramesh Koul, Durga Nath, Bimal Ji, Shiban Ji Bhat, Manoj Raina, Kiran Kachroo and several others.
The leaders present in the meeting pitched that the rates of the essential commodities need to be put under control in migrant camps and non- camps.
The leaders also urged for the Cash assistance be given to migrants and in advance also demanded adequate supply of essential commodities besides uninterrupted supply of water and electricity.
