Elderly Man Found Dead with Gunshot Wound in Reasi

Srinagar: A septuagenarian was discovered dead under suspicious circumstances with a gunshot wound in the Tanda area of Reasi district in Jammu on Monday.

Officials said the deceased, identified as Abdul Karim, son of Din Muhammad and a resident of Tanda, was found lifeless with a bullet injury.

A 12-bore gun was recovered near his body at the scene.

Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding his death. [KNT]
