There are hundreds of schools which are without schools heads and teachers. This has affected the teaching process and the academic calendar year of the children,”he said.
This govt, Vakil said, is talking much on papers while it has failed on the ground.
“The education department is in the mess”.
In a reference, Vakil said several districts are without Chief Education Officers while around 30 Educational blocks across the valley are without Zonal Heads which has left the whole education system in shambles.
He said over 100 schools in the valley are without principals. “Many are without salaries…how will the system function. ”

“The future of our future generation seems bleak. The student community had already sufferred because of the internet blockade, this deteriorating condition of overall education system has further created havoc,” Vakil said.
He stressed upon the Lt Governor to take serious notice of the problem.
