BANDIPORA : Director Agriculture Kashmir, Chowdhary Mohammad Iqbal visited Seed Multiplication Farm at Sumbal Sonawari area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Sunday,
While addressing the farmers, Director reiterated the Department’s commitment to reach to the farmers of far flung areas. He instructed the officers to continue organizing awareness/ training programmes regarding different schemes and flagship programmes being implemented by the department for the development and prosperity of farmers of the region.
He said’ our goal is that every farmer on the field gets benefited by the schemes and flagship programmes of the department and thereby contributes to the progress and prosperity of the agriculture sector in the district.
While speaking, to the media person’s the Director said that the department is successfully providing seedlings of different vegetable crops to the farming community well in time and this process will continue in days to come.
He asked the officers to work shoulder to shoulder with the farmers and asked the farmers to strictly follow the instructions and guidance provided to them by the Department experts.

During his visit, the Director interacted with the vegetable Growers of Sub division Sumbal and its adjacent villages and took onspot feedback regarding various interventions introduced by the Department and adopted by the farmers of the area.
The Director assured the farmers that the department is committed to provide them technical guidance during various agricultural activities so that the good returns could be fetched and socio-economic transformation of the farming community of the district could be achieved.
Director Agriculture was accompanied by Chief Agriculture Officer Bandipora, Mujtaba Yayaha, Seed Production Officer, Ishtiyaq Qadri, Manager Seed Multiplication Farm Tabasum Majeed Hurrah, PRIs and other senior officers of the district.
