Srinagar: The Director General of Youth Services and Sports Department, Jammu and Kashmir, Sh. Rajinder Singh Tara has taken strict action against three officials within the department, issuing suspension orders on grounds of alleged dereliction of duty. The decision, announced earlier today, underscores the department’s commitment to upholding high standards of accountability and performance among its personnel reads a statement issued.The officials who have been suspended are, Mr. Nirmal Singh – Physical Education Lecturer (PEL) at Government Higher Secondary School, Bishnah, Jammu District, Mr. Jatinder Singh – Physical Education Teacher (PET) at Government Higher Secondary School, Seri, Rajouri District, Mr. Zafar Ahmad Mir – Physical Education Teacher (PET) at Government Middle School, Dougam, Pulwama District.The suspension orders followed after the report submitted by DYSSO Kupwara and Reasi, which highlighted lapses in the assigned duties of these officials. Departmental sources indicate that this action was part of a larger initiative to ensure that responsibilities, especially in the domain of physical education and sports, are carried out with the highest level of diligence and professionalism.(GNS)
