DD Kashir stops airing in-house programs

Srinagar : Amid Coronavirus scare, popular programs on Srinagar Kendra of the national broadcaster, Doordarshan have gone off the air. From Wednesday morning no programs including ”Good Morning J&K”, ”Halaat-e-Hazira”, are being aired on Doordarshan.
   Confirming this, an official said that Doordarshan Kendra Srinagar has stopped telecast of almost all in-house programs. He said the decision was taken in a meeting and it was decided that as a precautionary measures in-house programs be stopped immediately.
   The official told KNT that only those programs of national importance with regard to combat Coronavirus including medical updates will be aired from the Kendra. (KNT)
