SRINAGAR: The Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar today visited various coaching centers established to provide free coaching especially teaching of mathematics to students at different schools across the district Budgam to take stock of the arrangements in place.
The schools visited today included Government Middle School Budgam and Government Middle School Pymus.
The coaching centers were recently inaugurated and in that backdrop, the DC visited these institutions and enquired about the teaching learning process in the institutes along with the other arrangements to be put in place for the fruitful and effective results for the students.
During her visit to coaching centre, established at Middle School, Pymus, the DC interacted with trainers and teachers to enquire about the process and status of teaching.
During her inspection to classrooms, the DC also interacted with students and parents, who called upon her and took feedback from them about the arrangements and facilities being provided at these coaching centers. She also enquired about the process of training and teaching provided by the trainers, hired from outside state.
Meanwhile, local residents, who hailed the district administration, expressed their gratitude to the DC Budgam for opening these free coaching centers in the district and arranging all the required arrangements for their wards at these centers.
They said that such coaching centers were need of the hour and have helped their wards to learn maths to very extent and other subjects too without paying any fee to anyone.
Among others, District Education Planning Officer, Farooq Ahmad Raina was also present on the occasion. (PTK)
