SRINAGAR : NHM employees association has further extended their strike call for 48 hours throughout the state.
It is pertinent to mention that the NHM employees are observing strike from1 March throughout the state demanding their regularization of services.
Notably, the Association has earlier met Health Minister of state Asiya Naqash and Mission Director, NHM J&K which failed to break the deadlock.
Spokesman of NHM Abdul Rouf said that tomorrow MD NHM has facilitated a meeting with Hon’ble Minister of Health and Medical Education Bali Bagat at Jammu where the member employees from both divisions will discuss their issues.
Meanwhile, NHM Spokesman in a statement said All Jammu and Kashmir National Health Mission employees (NHM) have been supported by well-known associates like Employees’ Confederation, Society of Consultant Doctors Kashmir, and Government Pharmacist Association Kashmir.
NHM Employees warned government if they fail to reach out them and said “we will keep the strike continues if we were not addressed in next 48 hours”.
