Will continue to work towards fostering communal harmony, says DIG CRPF
Srinagar: As part of the nationwide ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) conducted a grand Tiranga Rally in Srinagar, emphasizing the spirit of patriotism and unity.
The rally, which was organized by the CRPF’s Srinagar sector, started from Dalgate and culminated at Nishat, covering a significant stretch along the picturesque Dal Lake.
Speaking on the occasion, CRPF’s Deputy Inspector General (DIG) D.K. Singh said this Independence Day, ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ program is being organized across various regions of India, including Jammu and Kashmir.
“As the CRPF is known for its courage and dedication, we will continue to work towards fostering communal harmony and connecting with the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.
Notably, the rally witnessed enthusiastic participation, with officers from all the battalions of the Srinagar sector joining in. A special highlight was the participation of female bike riders, who added to the spirit of the event.
One of the female participants expressed her excitement, stating, joining this rally was an empowering experience.
“Similar initiatives would be organized in the future, with the aim of fostering closer ties between the security forces and the local population, ultimately contributing to the peace and harmony of the Valley,” DIG Singh told on the sidelines of the rally—(KNO)
