Srinagar reports 36 cases, case tally at 322,428, death toll stands at 4,386, active cases reaches to 1,410, recovery rate at 98.20 percent
Srinagar : The Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory on Saturday witnessed 142 fresh positive cases, taking the number of total active cases in the UT to 1,410.
No death was reported in last 24 hours and the death toll in the UT stands at 4,386 and 124 fresh positive cases reported on Saturday has pushed the tally of positive cases to 322,428.
Of the exact number of 322,428 cases, 200,285 are from Kashmir division and 122,143 from Jammu division. Officials told that among 142 new cases, 83 belong to Kashmir division while as 59 are from Jammu division, adding that the total number of positive cases in Kashmir division have reached to 200,285 including 197,221 recoveries and 2,238 deaths while as total number of positive cases in Jammu division have reached to 122,143 including 119,411 recoveries and 2,148 deaths.
The officials said that the total number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 1,410 including 830 from Kashmir division and 574 from Jammu division.
With 142 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached to 316,632 which is 98.20 percent of the total cases.
“Cases tested positive in J&K include 36 from Srinagar, 03 from Baramulla, 13 from Budgam, 09 from Pulwama, 07 from Kupwara, 00 from Anantnag, 05 from Bandipora, 07 from Ganderbal, 03 from Kulgam and 00 from Shopian in Kashmir division while as 59 from Jammu division include 15 from Jammu, 08 from Udhampur, 06 from Rajouri, 16 from Doda, 00 from Kathua, 00 from Samba, 07 from Kishtwar, 03 from Poonch, 02 from Ramban and 02 from Reasi,” officials disclosed.
Meanwhile, authorities on Saturday said that no fresh case of Mucormycosis popularly known as black fungus was reported in the UT and tally stands at 37.
As per officials figures, 71,605 positive cases including 833 deaths and 70,427 recoveries are from Srinagar, 23,695 including 282 deaths and 23,294 recoveries are from Baramulla, 22,954 including 22,669 recoveries and 206 deaths are from Budgam, 15,226 including 14,980 recoveries and 194 deaths are from Pulwama, 14,110 including 165 deaths and 13,909 recoveries are from Kupwara, 16,341 including 16,104 recoveries and 205 deaths are from Anantnag, 9,512 cases including 9,365 and 100 deaths are from Bandipora, 9,966 including 9,816 recoveries and 78 deaths are from Ganderbal, 11,290 including 11,135 recoveries and 117 deaths are from Kulgam and 5,586 including 5,522 recoveries and 58 deaths are from Shopian.
In Jammu division, 52,839 including 51,571 recoveries and 1,139 deaths are from Jammu district, 11,337 including 11,153 recoveries and 136 deaths are from Udhampur, 10,977 including 10,683 recoveries and 227 deaths are from Rajouri, 7,340 including 7,078 recoveries and 127 deaths are from Doda, 9,265 including 9,110 recoveries and 151 deaths are from Kathua, 7,124 including 7,002 recoveries and 119 deaths are from Samba, 4,672 including 4,584 recoveries and 44 deaths are from Kishtwar, 6,277 including 6,150 recoveries and 96 deaths are from Poonch, 5,978 including 5,891 recoveries and 66 deaths are from Ramban and 6,334 including 6,189 recoveries and 43 deaths are from Reasi.
As per the daily information bulletin 2,948,372 persons in Jammu and Kashmir are under observation while 7,768 persons have been kept under home quarantine besides that 1,410 persons are in isolation.
According to the bulletin, 2,576,753 persons have completed the surveillance period and 358,055 persons are under home surveillance besides that so far results of 12,133,916 samples are available. Out of 12,133,916 the number of samples tested negative stands at 11,811,488 while as 322,428 have tested positive, among them 1,410 persons are active, 316,632 persons have recovered and 4,386 persons have died—(KNO)
