Srinagar : Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday recorded eleven more deaths due to COVID-19, thus taking the number of people who died of the virus in the Union Territory so far to 352.
Eleven patients, who died today include a 28-year-old woman from Bijbehara Anantnag, a 52-year-old woman from Zalapora Budgam, a 75-year-old woman from Wazir Bagh Srinagar, a 65-year-old man from Mattan Anantnag, a 79-year-old man from Talab Tillo, Srinagar, a 65-year-old man from Sumbal Bandipora, a 58-year-old man from Gopalpora Chadoora, a 60-year-old man from Lal Bazar Srinagar, a 65-year-old man from Naseem Bagh Hazratbal Srinagar, a 72-year-old man from Bemina Iqbalabad Srinagar and a 65-year-old man from Kunzar Baramulla.
An official from SMHS Srinagar told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a 52-year-old female from Zalapora, Budgam who was admitted with Diabetes, hypertension and bilateral pneumonia died today.
He said that a 75-year-old woman from Wazeer Bagh, Srinagar who was admitted on 27 July with bilateral pneumonia and hypertension, died on Wednesday. He further added that a 58-year-old man from Gopalpora Chadoora Budgam who was admitted on 27 July with bilateral pneumonia, died on 28 July and was tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday.
“A 65-year-old man from Gonipora Kunzar Baramulla who was admitted with diabetes and bilateral pneumonia on 25 July died on Wednesday afternoon,” He informed.
An official from SKIMS Soura said that a 65-year-old man from Mattan Anantnag who was admitted on 27 July with pneumonia and hypertension died on Wednesday.
He added that a 65-year-old patient from Sumbal Bandipora who was on dialysis and admitted on 21 July, was tested positive for COVID-19 on 23rd July died on Wednesday.
Regarding a patient from Lal Bazar, he said that patient was admitted on 20 July with multiple ailments and died on Wednesday.
An official from SKIMS Bemina (JVC) said that a 28-year old lady from Bijbehara area of Anantnag who was admitted on 14 July, died on Wednesday.
An official from CD hospital said that a 65-year-old patient from Naseem Bagh Hazratbal Srinagar who was admitted on 15 July died on Wednesday.
He added that a 72-year-old man from Bemina who was admitted on 18 July with pneumonia and other ailments died on Wednesday evening.
An official from GMC Jammu told KNO that a 79-year-old man from Talab Tillo Jammu who was admitted at CD hospital Jammu on 27 July and later referred to GMC Jammu where he died last night.
With eleven more deaths, the death toll in J&K has reached to 352 including 327 from Kashmir division and 25 from Jammu division region—(KNO)
