Srinagar : Principal District and Session Judge Srinagar has constituted a committee of judicial officers who will frame the list of contacts of the two judicial officers that have been tested positive for Covid-19 infection.
Sources told news agency KNT that there was complete chaos inside court complex here in Mominabad Batamaloo area of Srinagar city.
Pertinently, two Judges- Additional Session Judge TADA /POTA Court Srinagar and Judge Court Srinagar have been tested positive for Covid infection.
Sources said that as per the standing orders only employees and lawyers were supposed to enter in the Court, but today even employees were not allowed to enter into court premises.
“There was complete chaos inside the court complex after the news broke that two judges have been tested positive. Majority of the lawyers preferred to leave the court premises while employees were not allowed inside the court and they returned back,” said a lawyer adding that everything in court has come to a grinding halt.
Meanwhile, in a bid to find out all the contacts of the two infected Judges, Principal District and Session judge Srinagar has constituted a committee of judicial officers who will frame the list of contacts and accordingly they will be tested for this lethal infection. (KNT)
