SRINAGAR : The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee paid rich tributes to pt. Jawaharlal Nehru on his 55th death Anniversary, recalling his selfless services and sacrifices for the Nation.
In a Statement Senior Congress Leaders Haji An. Rashid Dar, Mohd Amin Bhat, Farooq Andrabi and others while remembering Pt.Ji on his death Anniversary described him as a visionary and leader of masses, who worked tirelessly to build India bringing it at par with other developing countries after achieving freedom from British Colonial Rule.
They said Pt. Nehru contributed immensely to inclusive development of India, besides ensuring development of poor and downtrodden section irrespective of their caste or religion.
The five year reconstruction plan of Former Prime Minister made India as developing Nation in the world, which cannot be denied, they added and said the best way to pay homage to Pt.Ji was to work for development of poor and downtrodden section of the people irrespective of their colour or religion.
