Srinagar: The administrators of private schools and coaching centres Tuesday accused Directorate of School Education of imposing his ‘will’ upon them. They said Director School Education is virtually acting like a dictator as without knowing the ground reality, it has asked them to complete the syllabus of students well before Board examination.
The reaction from Coaching Centres owners came a day after Director School Education Kashmir asked them to arrange extra classes for the completion of syllabus well before Board examinations.
“Why didn’t Director School Education talk about that precious period when government shut down coaching centres in Kashmir Valley? There is no coordination between Board of School Education and Directorate of School Education. Both seem to work on different lines,” said a representative of a private coaching centre to news agency CNS.
“We had sought more time for the completion of syllabus but Directorate of School Education seem to be in a hurry to conduct the examinations which is totally injustice towards students,” he added.
Pertinently, Class 11th examination starts from October 28 while Directorate of School Education has asked Coaching Centres to complete the syllabus of student 8 days before the commencement of these examinations. (CNS)
