Clashes erupt during CASO in Arwani Bijbehara

Anantnag : Clashes erupt during cordon and search operation in Arwani village of Bijbehar area of Anantnag district.

Reports reaching KNO stated that soon after forces launched cordon and search operation in the area, youth took to streets and started pelting stones on government forces which was retialated by smoking tear gas and sound shells.

Earlier on specific inputs about the presence of militants joint team of forces including RR, CRPF and SOG launched search operation in the area.
Locals told KNO that door to door search operation amid clashes was going on in the area.

Meanwhile authorities have snapped internet services in Anantnag district.(KNO)
