Civilian killings at Shopian, Anantnag highly condemnable: EJAC

SRINAGAR: In an emergency meeting of Employees Joint Action committee, President EJAC Abdul Qayoom Wani strongly condemned the civilian killings at Shopian and Anantnag by security forces and termed the killings unjustified and inhuman.

In a statement issued to PTK, Wani demanded judicial probe into the incident to punish the security forces involved in the incident so that such incidents may not occur in the future. EJAC demanded complete ban on pallet guns in J&K to save the lives of innocent people.

EJAC president showed sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved families and the injured people and also prayed for their speedy recovery.
