PULWAMA: One civilian killed, two other injured when suspected militants hurled a grenade at police party at Murran Chowk in Pulwama district of south Kashmir today on Friday.
Police official said that a grenade was hurled on police party at Murran Chowk which led to the injuries to three persons including one Central Reserved Police Forces (CRPF) personnel were injured personnel.
The injured persons were rushed to the district hospital for treatment. “Among the injured one civilian identified as Mohammad Ayoub of Goosu Pulwama succumbed to his injuries.

The other injured civilian was identified as Abdul Ahad Sofi. The injured CRPF personnel have been identified as Ct. Dalbir Kiran of 182”, Station House officer (SHO) Pulwama told PTK.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Pulwama while taking to PTK confirmed that “One CRPF personnel and two civilians were injured”. He said that one civilian succumbs to the injuries.
