SRINAGAR: The civil society group from New Delhi, which is on a visit to valley met Hurriyat Conference Chairman Mirwaiz Umer Farooq on Thursday to discuss the prevailing situation in the Valley.

The group comprising senior Congress leader, Mani Shankar Aiyar, O P Shah, Air Vice Marshal (retd) Kapil Kak , Vinod Sharma and other civil society activists meeting Held at his residence nigeen .

Reports said that they are expected to meet Hurriyat leaders, Sayed Ali Shah Geelani in the afternoon adding that JKLF chairman Yasin Malik is not going to meet them as he has rejected to give an appointment.

reports said that an appointment was sought by Mani Shankar Aiyar, however, that was rejected by Yasin Malik.
