A police head constable committed suicide at District Police Lines Budgam in central Kashmir on Monday.
An official said that Head constable Mohd Shafi Mir, who was in his mid-forties, shot himself dead with his service early Monday.
Mir was a resident of Sadoora village of Kulgam, said the official. He said that the police was probing the case.
