CASO launched in Poonch areas

Poonch : The government forces have launched Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Saujiyan and Loran areas of Poonch district, officials said.

A senior officer told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that teams of Army and Police launched a joint search operation in Saujiyan area near Line of Control (LoC) as well as in Loran hilly area that connects with Budgam district.

“Some inputs about suspicious movement were received following which a search operation was launched on Friday evening and is currently going on,” he added—(KNO)
