BUDHAL MYSTERIOUS DEATHS: FOUR MORE GIRLS HOSPITALIZED, THREE AIRLIFTED TO JAMMU

Rajouri: As mysterious deaths and illness situation continues to grip Budhaal village in JK’s Rajouri district where 17 people have lost their lives in last one and half month, four more girls were hospitalized on Wednesday.

Among these are three real sisters and all these people fell ill under unclear circumstances who were later rushed to GMC Associated Hospital Rajouri.

Officials said that on Wednesday late afternoon, three real sisters from Budhal fell ill who were initially screened by doctors in the village and later taken to GMC Associated Hospital Rajouri where a team of doctors medically examined the patients and provided them necessary medical first aid.

MLA Budhal Javed Iqbal Choudhary, Principal GMC Rajouri Dr. AS Bhatia, Medical Superintendent of GMC Associated Hospital Dr. Shamim Ahmed supervised medical treatment of these patients.” We decided to shift these patients to PGI Chandigarh and the matter was taken up with divisional administration as well as Jammu and Kashmir Government by us after which requisition for a helicopter was placed.” said MLA Budhal.

The Indian Air Force and Indian army provided us necessary and a helicopter was sent on which the three patients, who are real sisters, have been referred to GMC Jammu.

MLA further said that government is working hard to arrange an air ambulance facility for these three real sisters who will further be taken to PGI Chandigarh for advanced medical aid. Alongside it, in a separate case, 18-year-old Shabnam Kouser, daughter of Jamil Hussain, a resident of Badhal, has also been hospitalized in GMC Rajouri.

The said teenage girl reportedly complained of uneasiness on Wednesday evening after which she was medical screened and later brought in GMC where she is under treatment.
