JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir right wing Bharatiya Janata Party ministers resigned from the Mehbooba Mufti-led government to induct new faces in the cabinet.
Sources said KNB that “BJP is introducing fresh faces from the party, and ministers had been told to send across their resignations at meetings held last week by BJP strategist Ram Madhav ahead of a Cabinet reshuffle and this does not in any way mean the BJP has pulled out of the government
Sources in the Peoples Democratic Party told KNB that “the resignations of the BJP ministers is only to induct fresh faces without any bearing on the continuation of the coalition government in the state”.
Pertinently, Two ministers of the saffron party, who courted controversy by attending a rally supporting the accused in the case, on Friday tendered their resignation to the state BJP chief.(KNB)
