“My daughter doing well in Rajasthan quarantine”
Baramulla : North Kashmir’s Baramulla family Sunday refuted the reports that one of the their family members returning from Iran has been tested positive for Coronavirus.
The family asked authorities to disclose the location and name of the fresh Covid-19 positive patient who according to them hails from Baramulla.
Dr Barkat Ali, from Baramulla told KNT that his daughter after returning from Iran has been quarantined in Rajasthan and she is not infected and doing well. The reports in the district about his being a Covid-19 positive are rumours only.
“I request the concerned authorities to disclose the name of the patient who is diagnosed with Covid 19 in Baramulla. Because there are rumours around that its my daughter, who is infected with Covid-19 which is not true,” he said.
“My daughter is in Rajasthan presently in quarantine after evacuated by the Indian government from Iran and is absolutely fine without anything whatsoever.
We are following all the rules in the book,” he added and asked rumour mongers to stop spreading rubbish and show some courtesy in this hour of disaster. (KNT)
