Bandipora: An 18 years old girl Shah Parihaan Peerzada hailing from Naz Colony Bandipora of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district has bagged 02 gold medals and 01 Silver in G M Dar National Championship and 10th international SQAY Masters Cup was organised by SQAY Federational of India from 14th-19th June, 2019 at Pahalgam.
G. M. Dar National Championship and 10th international SQAY Masters Cup was organised by SQAY Federational of India from 14th-19th June, 2019 at Pahalgam. Also high altitude SQAY National Coaching camp was held by J&K SQAY Association.Teams from 19 states of india and 08 countries were a part of the camp and championship.
Shah Parihaan Peerzada got 3 medals, 2 gold and one silver and also got brown belt. This is her 5th national. She is also yoga player and skier.
In last two years, Bandipora created a history in sports by producing Tajamul Islam who won gold in world Kickboxing Championship by defeating USA opponent in Italy, Hashim Manzoor who won gold in world karate championship in Delhi and many other.
