Army soldier killed, another injured in Tral militant attack

SRINAGAR: Militants fired at an army camp in Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, leaving a soldier dead and another wounded.

A police official said that the militants fired at the soldiers manning 42 RR army camp in Nader area of Tral.

He said the army men retaliated, leading to a brief exchange of fire in which a soldier was killed and another wounded. Meanwhile, the area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers, said the official. (GK)
